Soldier On will be utilising AllCrew in their wellbeing initiatives, as another tool to enable and assist ex-service men and their families and partners, to integrate back into civilian life.
Soldier On will also be providing volunteering opportunities for AllCrew members and work with AllCrew on joint initiatives for fundraising events.
Soldier On has grown into Australia’s only national, fully integrated support services provider for members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their families.
Soldier On staff work side by side with individuals and families, to strengthen resilience and develop meaningful connections with family members, mates, and the local community through a diverse range of health and wellbeing services, employment opportunities, learning and education programs, and participation in community, social, and sporting activities.
Soldier On services are holistic and integrated and are able to be tailored to meet the needs of individuals and their families. This looks like,
- The transition from defence to civilian life
- The impact of deployment, separation, relocation and family integration
- Complex trauma, PTSD and stress-related issues
- Mood disorders, such as depression
- Anxiety disorders
- Relationship and interpersonal difficulties
The transition period from military to civilian life is quickly becoming recognised as one of the most significant and stressful periods in the life of military members worldwide. Soldier On is dedicated to providing in-house, evidence-based psychology treatments to Defence personnel and veterans who have been impacted by their service to Australia.
