TIACS and AllCrew will be working towards joint initiatives and events for AllCrew members to attend. In addition, TIACS will always be readily accessible to provide mental health support. Specifically relatable to the blue-collar community, by removing the physical, financial and social barrier.
TIACS was formed by two blokes named Dan & Ed, co-founders of TradeMutt, a social impact workwear brand. TradeMutt came about after Dan lost one his best mates to suicide in 2015. Both Dan & Ed wanted to change the landscape on how blue-collar industries perceived mental health. With TradeMutt up and running they started to realise how many people were reaching out for support but didn’t know how to navigate the mental health system. They then put the pieces in place and TIACS was created.
TIACS is a free, confidential and accessible counselling service. It utilises both call/text mediums to reach tradies, truckies, rural, blue-collar workers and those who care about them.
